Chair Lifts are for Friends!

Next time you ride a chair lift, play a game, ask random questions to complete strangers, heckle gapers, cheer for people sending natural features, scream praises to your favorite athletes in the park, laugh, talk about skiing, and increase the level of stoke amongst your crew. After all, for those of us that enjoy skiing resorts, chairlifts are a big part of our lives!

For those of you that chain-smoke cigarettes, take business calls, or inquire as to what altitude the deer turn to elk, please leave the mountains faster than you can say, "Money isn't real"

Flat Light Hustle

Banks Gilberti is so comfortable in the air that he can send cork 9 blunts in flat light. As depicted in the photograph, flat light occurs when there is no differentiation between the sky and the snow. For Banks, such a level of comfort took him years to develop and we highly recommend you tone it down on the flight light days and only perform tricks you're extraordinarily comfortable with.

Over the weekend, our boy Jeffery Kiesel brought some serious creativity to Rails-to-Riches and made it into finals with ease! The judges didn't score anything but the top 3 runs, but if they did, he would have placed 4th!

In other competition news, Joystick athletes Banks Gilberti (pictured above) Matt Margetts, Rob Heule, Simon Ericson, Jason Arens, and Alex G are getting their Dew Tour runs together right now! If you see them on the hill, wish them luck and remind them to stay VARSITY!

Hello, Logan Imlach here. Roaming Newschoolers lately has shown me that many of you seniors in high school are looking forward to moving out west and becoming ski bums. The realization that I had is that 90% of you are from a city east of the Mississippi and need to learn a thing or two about picking up the hippy broads that reside in these towns. Yes, dirtball hippies make up the majority of these towns’ female population, so they are your target demographic. And if you are said target and find yourself offended by this: A) Get over yourself, and B) Go take a shower.
